Lynn has been in the industry for over 30 years (Wow..) and the passion of working with people, and creating a look to make them look and feel their best is as strong as  it was on day one. She has always been interested in fashion and looks for inspiration where ever she can. Magazines, nature, architecture, just to name a few. You just never know what can inspire you.

Lynn spent the first 2 ½ years after her graduation training under the direction of Vidal Sassoon in Chicago. The discipline and knowledge is something she will have forever.

The past 13 years she has been an educator for Paul Mitchell. She’s had the privilege to work next to this industries most iconic artists. Lynn was asked to join “Task Force,” which meant she was the Distributors Color Coordinator and trained the educators in color for the Illinois Territory. She has since been honored with the title of Premier National Educator for the Paul Mitchell company.

Being a salon owner allows her to take years of experience and put it into action.

Brittany Balamut graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Chicago in June 2009.  She started working in a salon, while still in school.  She has been with The Lather Lounge since they opened in December of 2010.  Brittany keeps inspired by attending continuing education classes, with some of the industries best!  She loves giving back to the community and following everything the Paul Mitchell culture stands for!

Ariel Griglin is a second generation hairdresser that has grown up surrounded by the beauty industry.  After working in the salon for four years, she decided to enroll in beauty school. That was just the beginning of her journey.  She has since been featured in magazines such as Modern Salon, Peluqurias and continues educating at Paul Mitchell the school Chicago as a learning leader.  Her passion and commitment to her career has set her on the right track and enjoys being a day maker everyday behind the chair.

Alex Benedict has always had a passion for hair.  At a young age, she always had fun doing hair for her friends.  She graduated from Excel Academies of Cosmetology in November of 2011.   She loves continuing her education and learning the latest trends in hair.  She also gives back to the community anyway she can.  She has participated in two cut-a-thons and various other events that support the surrounding communities and organizations.

Jenn Jones has been a stylist for over five years and is a graduate of Trend Setters College of Cosmetology, a Paul Mitchell Partner School. She began working in the salon industry ten years ago and fell in love with it. She is committed to staying current by attending various classes and workshops throughout the year.  Her main passion lives in color, whether it's working with guest natural color palette or creating an exciting new dimension color. Schedule an appointment with Jenn and create the latest styling trends and color.

Frankie has been doing hair for almost two years now.  Frankie graduated from Paul Mitchell The School Tinley Park in June 2012.  She has been under the direction of Lynn since April 2012.  Frankie could not be any happier that she has a great mentor like Lynn.  During school she was at the top of her class.  Since being involved in the Paul Mitchell culture, she has been giving back to the community.  Frankie has participated in two cut-a-thons and numerous Free-Hug Days.  She stays creative and inspired by creating magic with every guest.
